Soundsure 300

Soundsure 300 is an acoustic resilient layer that has been designed to isolate floor screeds from the main structure of the building, delivering superior impact and airborne sound performance.

Why Soundsure 300?

Soundsure 300 is a cost-effective solution for use below all types of floor screeds, where Pre-Completion Testing is preferred to that of Robust Details. As it is manufactured from recycled rubber crumb, Soundsure is not only extremely environmentally friendly, but also provides long-lasting durability and high levels of acoustic performance.

Installation Points to Note

The area of installation must be dry, smooth, dirt and dust free and weather tight.
The subfloor must be sound and sufficiently level, with no imperfections protruding through Soundsure 300. If not, then a self-levelling screed may be required.
When bonding to bare concrete, a suitable concrete sealer is recommended to ensure maximum adhesive coverage and bond strength.
If moisture levels exceed 75% RH, seal the area with a suitable primer.
Where possible, skirting board should be installed above Soundsure 300 in order to reduce flanking sound transmission.
