Interfloor are Europe’s largest manufacturer of floorcovering underlay and accessories and supply our products across the UK and around the world. We are heading to an exciting period of change for our Procurement team and are looking for a dynamic, experienced procurement professional to join us on this journey.
Working within a busy manufacturing environment you will have experience of managing the end to end sourcing process and have an in-depth background of negotiating and managing a supply chain. We are category and project lead therefore you will have full responsibility for your categories and projects and the ability to design and implement the strategy for them in accordance with the objectives set by the Head of Procurement. Your role will be to support the business and procurement team in implementing strategies, analysing costs, negotiating contracts and to build on supplier relationship management to better manage the products and services purchased. You will be responsible for the management and development of an Assistant Buyer and will be expected to mentor and support them with their categories and projects.
