Our top of the range tape is recommended for use in high traffic areas. Instead of the
regular crepe paper backing it features a metallised gold foil that offers additional
installation benefits:

Reduces heat loss into the floor, giving a faster adhesive melt rate when the iron is applied and a faster seaming speed if required
Slows down the adhesive cooling rate, allowing more working time for pattern matching
Allows better control at lower temperatures for sensitive carpet piles and backings
